Chayal Shalom

Chayal — from the Hebrew חַיָּל — means soldier. It is connected to the biblical Hebrew word chayil, which communicates strength, courage, capability, valour and force.

Shalom — from the Hebrew שָׁלוֹם — means more than peace or the absence of conflict. It expresses wholeness, completeness, soundness, harmony and well-being.

Together, Chayal Shalom can be understood as:

  • A Soldier of Peace

  • A Warrior for Wholeness

  • Strength Brought into Alignment

For Chayal, the name represents a man developing the strength, discipline and courage to confront what is fragmented within him and pursue greater identity, alignment and wholeness.

Change becomes sustainable when identity, discipline and alignment become congruent.

Chayal Shalom helps men understand where they are, recognise what is shaping them and move forward with greater consistency, clarity and purpose.

The programme serves seven alignment profiles:

The Capable but Fragmented Man.

The Disciplined but Misaligned Man.

The Responsible but Depleted Man.

The Searching Man.

The Rebuilding Man.

The Grounded but Plateaued Man.

The Anchored and Purpose-Driven Man.

The Chayal Shalom Journey

1. Begin with the Personal Alignment Audit

The journey begins with honest self-understanding.

The Personal Alignment Audit is a structured reflection designed to help you examine your current experience, recurring patterns and areas of alignment or internal tension.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. The audit provides a starting point for understanding where you are and what may require your attention.

Understand where you are. Recognise what is shaping you. Choose your next step.

2. Receive Your Alignment Profile

Your responses are assessed against the seven Chayal Shalom alignment profiles.

Your result provides language for the pattern currently most visible in your life. It is not a permanent label, diagnosis or judgement of your character.

It is a point of recognition from which clearer reflection and intentional movement can begin.

3. Attend Your Best-Fit Call

Following the audit, you may attend a private Best-Fit Session.

This structured conversation creates an opportunity to:

  • Review your alignment profile.

  • Discuss what is currently happening beneath the surface.

  • Identify the area requiring the greatest attention.

  • Clarify what meaningful progress would look like.

  • Determine whether Chayal coaching is appropriate for your present needs.

  • Identify the coaching pathway most suited to your starting point.

The session is not intended to pressure you into coaching. Its purpose is to establish clarity, suitability and direction.

4. Enter the Appropriate Coaching Pathway

Based on your audit result, current circumstances and Best-Fit Session, the appropriate area of coaching emphasis is identified.

Chayal Shalom provides three connected coaching pathways:

  1. The Seven Pillars

  2. Discovery, Discipline and Alignment

  3. The Blueprint Compass

Each pathway provides a different way of examining the whole man, strengthening personal responsibility and translating insight into practical action.

5. Build, Apply and Review

Chayal coaching is private, structured, respectful and action-oriented.

The process may include guided reflection, practical exercises, agreed actions, accountability and regular review. Progress is not measured only by what you understand, but by what begins to change in your decisions, standards and daily life.

The purpose is not to create dependence on the coach. It is to strengthen your ability to recognize patterns, make responsible decisions and lead yourself with greater clarity.

The Three Chayal Shalom Pathways

The Seven Pillars

Understanding the Whole Man

Chayal examines the whole man across seven connected areas:

Spiritual. Mental. Emotional. Physical. Relational. Financial. Social.

These areas do not operate independently.

Progress in one area can strengthen the others. Neglect, pressure or instability in one area can affect decisions, relationships, energy and direction across the whole life.

The Seven Cornerstone Roots pathway helps a man:

  • Examine the condition of each area.

  • Recognise where pressure may be spreading into other parts of his life.

  • Identify areas that have been neglected or overextended.

  • Understand where his present priorities may be out of balance.

  • Develop a more complete definition of personal success.

  • Strengthen stewardship of the life and responsibilities already entrusted to him.

The objective is not to achieve perfect balance at all times. It is to develop greater awareness, responsibility and intentionality across the areas that support a whole and aligned life.

Discovery, Discipline and Alignment

Moving from Understanding to Consistent Action

Discovery, Discipline and Alignment provides a structured process for understanding what shapes a man, strengthening how he lives and bringing his direction into agreement with what matters most.

Discovery

Discovery helps you examine the beliefs, values, experiences and roles influencing how you live and make daily decisions.

It creates space to ask:

  • What do I believe about myself?

  • Which roles have come to define me?

  • What values am I actually living by?

  • Where has my definition of success come from?

  • What is influencing my current direction?

Discovery brings attention to the man beneath the role.

Discipline

Discipline turns understanding into structure.

It focuses on developing the habits, standards, boundaries and practices required for consistent action. It helps close the distance between what a man intends to do and how he repeatedly lives.

Discipline is not punishment or constant intensity. It is the ability to act according to established values and standards, even when motivation changes.

Alignment

Alignment brings identity, responsibilities, decisions and direction into greater agreement.

It examines whether your words, energy and momentum are moving towards the life you say matters to you.

Alignment helps you consider:

  • Whether your daily actions reflect your stated values.

  • Whether your discipline is connected to a meaningful direction.

  • Whether your responsibilities support or compete with your priorities.

  • Whether your definition of success still represents the man you are becoming.

  • Whether your life is moving with intention or merely continuing through momentum.

Discovery creates understanding. Discipline creates consistency. Alignment gives that consistency meaningful direction.

The Blueprint Compass

Recognizing What Repeatedly Shapes Your Life

The Blueprint Compass helps identify recurring behaviors, internal conflicts and areas of misalignment.

Many men can recognize that something is not working without fully understanding the pattern beneath it. The same reactions, decisions or cycles may continue even when the man genuinely wants a different outcome.

The Pattern Compass provides a clearer picture of:

  • What is shaping your current decisions.

  • Where you may feel stuck, divided or inconsistent.

  • Which situations repeatedly trigger familiar responses.

  • Where your stated values and actual behavior may differ.

  • Which standards are no longer supporting the man you want to become.

  • How old patterns may be replaced with clearer and more intentional standards.

Pattern recognition is not about becoming trapped in the past. It is about understanding what continues to influence the present.

Once a pattern can be recognized, it can be examined. Once it is examined, a different response can be practiced. With consistent application, new standards can begin to replace old cycles.

The aim is not simply to stop unwanted behavior. It is to develop the awareness and self-leadership required to redirect it.

One Programme.

Three Pathways.

A More Aligned Man.

The Chayal Shalom pathways provide a structured way to examine the whole life, understand the man beneath the role and recognise the patterns influencing his direction.

The emphasis of coaching will depend on your Personal Alignment Audit, your present circumstances and what becomes clear during the Best-Fit Session.

Throughout the process, the goal remains consistent:

  • Greater understanding of who you are.

  • Greater consistency between intention and action.

  • Greater recognition of recurring patterns.

  • A healthier and more personal definition of success.

  • Greater agreement between identity, discipline and direction.

Chayal does not promise an effortless path or an immediate transformation.

It provides a private and structured place to examine where you are, take responsibility for what comes next and begin moving forward with greater clarity.

Begin with the Personal Alignment Audit

You do not need to be in crisis to begin.

You only need the willingness to examine where you are and consider whether the life you are living remains aligned with the man you intend to become.

Understand the pattern. Clarify the direction. Take the next step.
